Social Anxiety Disorder – What do I do?

I have a little problem…I’m doing induction for a job as a Health and Safety Officer. Part of the duties of this job include doing a “Toolbox talk” (Safety talk) every day before the workers start working. Problem is, I have Social Anxiety Disorder – I can barely talk well to 1 person, how am I supposed to talk to 20+ people? Every time I even think about it I get overcome by fear. I start in 4 days time. I’m on these pills called Rescue. But they’re not really working. I really need this job because I have payments to pay every month and I can’t get any other job that will pay me enough to make every months payments. What can I do?? Does anyone know of any “Anxiety Killing” medication or anything??
I already have an alcohol abuse problem and I’ve done drugs. But you get tested for alcohol before you enter the work site. Also, I dont think it’s right people should have to depend on alcohol or drugs as a solution. Same goes with medication. Although medication would really help right now.
