  • If you mean the gate latch, this one is easy for adults to use, proven very safe, and very inexpensive. The small size of gate latch and fence safely protects toddlers and minimizes blocking view of pool and view beyond. Bulky metal or wood fences are permanent and ugly. ProtectAChild quality components are way safer and last many times longer than the cheap junk look-a-likes that are just false safety and tragedies waiting to happen because their posts snap off and fence mesh wears out.

  • I belive a fence should be around a pool at all time not just when a small child is visiting for the hole time to protect all the children that lives close to it also

  • Protect-A-Child quality definitely makes it a permanent solution that has worked excellently for 25+ years for hundreds of thousands of customers. All or certain sections can be easily removed by an adult when not needed, like when adults will be at the pool, something a regular fence can’t do! Plus it minimizes blocking the view of your pool. Its great in allowing toddlers to play in the rest of the area outside the fence, or install it just when toddlers are visiting.

  • It is a good idea, but why are the parts so small?

  • It is a good temporary fix a fence but not a fence you want to keep for a long time and ya wh is the parts some small

  • True, but if adults are there, for example on weekends using the pool, especially with a large group when fence would just be in the way, you have the option of leaving it up or temporarily setting it aside. Or if you have no kids and a fenced yard you could use it for added safety when grandkids visit or friends with kids. Being in the industry for so long we hear the horror stories, sometimes from customers that didn’t get one soon enough.
